This checks you're drawings for errors and makes sure it's a solid or watertight. cleanup3 is also good for removing lines and faces that shouldn't be there. So it's possible that Cura will show something in the 3D view and not realize it was removed by the slicer. WebDec 22, 2024 · When I slice the same model with or without raft I get the same number of layers with the "Layer view mode" in Cura. How is that possible? If I use raft the first layer that I can see my model on is layer 5 with 38 as the last layer. If I use NO raft I can see my model is starting on layer 1 but still has 38 layers. But when you go to layer view and use the slider next to the play button it only shows it only printing that last layer or so.
