If they are straight across and of different lengths, then the flexplate is a small one, 153-teeth, 12 3/4 inch diameter. If the bolts are of the same length and staggered, then the flexplate is a large one.

I think the break for flywheel/starter tooth count was 1987. On my '87, I had quite a time trying to find the correct starter/bendix to fit. WebJun 5, 2016 · Jul 28, 2010. Messages: 42.
