Web13 de jun. de 2009 · Wow, that is a common problem. I have the same issue (high-beams work/low-beams don't work). Like you I replaced the dimmer switch and it did not help. I haven't got around to it yet, but next I will be checking all grounds and contacts. There is also an outside chance that either hi or low filaments in both headlights could be shot. Web25 de fev. de 2004 · If the low beams work on high, but not on low, again it could be power or ground connections, or no power from the dimmer switch. If they don't work on either, ground is more likely the problem. Don't forget, you could just have bad headlight bulbs. Yes they can flicker with a broken filiment when bounced around. Ken Styer

When I replaced the low beam bulbs, I installed the inner fog light bulbs H3 to get extra lights(it was never enough light!). They worked perfect with or without low beams.
